Speach of Missioning
In this holy mass,
thank God for the gift my life and for the gift of my Oblate vocation. I also
thank all the oblate brothers. Thank you for your supports, prayer and
brotherly love. Mission is not a new but it is continuous work of God because He
himself is missioned in this world by his son Jesus Christ. We are all in
mission working to fulfil his mission. I
ask your prayers and blessing so that I can work for the mission of Christ and
St Eugene, not for personal mission. We also thank God for the gift of Fr.
Rupok who has celebrated his birthday this month on Fifth. Again, as a whole
family today, we wish him a happy birthday. He is a treasure in our family.
Birth is a beginning of life in the world, as religious we live every moment of
our life for Christ and for the people. Finally
we thank God for each one us, for we
have received a precious gift, Oblate vocation, a gift becomes for other, we
all gift for the oblates, church and for the people.
Now let us surrender ourselves
to Christ, who has come to forgive and to serve.
Dear Oblate fathers,
The call of Jesus
Christ, heard within the Church through people’s need for salvation, draws us
together as Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Christ thus invites us to
follow him and to share in his mission through word and work.
Dear Oblate brothers,
we all are born in a nuclear family, in particular society or space, Now we are
born in extended family, where there are many colours, race, culture and
society, We are now no more for particular but for unlimited. As member of
Oblates of Mary immaculate we have no boundary for word and work. As I go to
Germany, I am not going as an orphan and without family. I am going there as
son of living parents and living family.
People of German are
practicing one thousand years of faith in Jesus Christ. So I am there no one to
speak about faith, but it is a new face of evangelization being in a community
with many nations and cultures. I need your prayers and blessing sothat I can
face this new face of evangelization, in fact we are all facing this new face
of evangelization.
Finally I thank God for
my Oblate vocation. I would express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to each
oblate, D. superior, counselors for forming me as oblate, thank you for
prayers, supports and love.
Thank you!
